Poem

I wrote a poem, a really crappy one... should I post it? Hmm...

Against my better judgement, and risking total humiliation, here goes...

Do not promise me forever,
When at the end of the day,
Forever is just an illusion,
And all we have is today.

My love will last as long
As the stars and moon in the sky...
Or maybe only just as long
As there are still tears in my eyes.

But when this has come to pass
And all is said and done,
Have no doubt in this,
That I loved you once.

I can't believe I posted it. And no, Ely, I didn't plagiarise it... so should I apply to work at Hallmark?
